Who Blew Up an Iranian Air Base in Syria Over the Weekend?

 In Foreign

Breitbart reported that on Sunday, SANA (Syrian state-run news) stated that an “enemy attacked” an Iranian Air Base: a “new aggression targeted military positions in the countryside of Hama and Aleppo provinces with rockets at around 10:30 PM.”

There is some “confusion” as to who launched the attacks, but it is widely assumed that Israel may have done so.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported,

“The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored great human and material losses as a result of the rocket targeting to the Brigade 47 controlled by Iranian forces and regime forces in the southern countryside of Hama, where the SOHR documented the death of 26 members at least including 4 Syrian fighters and the rest are of Arab and Asian nationalities, the greatest portion of whom are Iranian, all were killed as a result of the targeting which took place yesterday, Sunday the 29th of April 2018, and no planes were noticed flying over the area at the time of the bombardment, where the bombardment targeted depots of ground-to-ground missiles belonging to the Iranian militiamen which caused great explosions in the area, accompanied by the breakout of fire in it, while the number of casualties is expected to increase due to the presence of more than 60 injured an missing people, some of whom have seriously wounded, in addition to information about other casualties, also a similar rocket shelling targeted the area of Nayrab Military Airbase in Aleppo province yesterday.”

Since Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has been in the reigon, and today PM Netanyahu delivered his bombshell report of Iranian lies, there may be more airstrikes in the offing.
