WaPo Claim: Donald Trump Said “S***hole” Countries, Libs Lose Their Minds

 In Politics

The Washington Post  claimed that President Trump used the word “shithole” countries when discussing Haiti and African nations at the DACA meeting with Congressional members on Thursday. He denies that he made the slur, but of course that doesn’t matter to anyone now that the media has gotten hold of the story.

Valid comment

The alleged comments:  “Why are we having all these people from s***hole countries come here?” and “Why do we need more Haitians? Take them out.” The idea is valid. Does it really matter whether he spoke his mind or not? Was he “racist?” No. He cares about America FIRST.

A merit-based immigration system is far more likely to benefit our country than the current free-for-all. People who come here should have some qualifications – not just be allowed to camp out with free government benefits, wave their former national flags, and give America the finger at every opportunity. People from cultures that in general assimilate better into America are more likely to do well here than others.

Our own Tank came here from a “shithole” nation and thrived…because he desired to be in America. He wanted to assimilate. He was ready for a new place to live that promised hope.  He could hardly wait to become a Marine.

The media mess

One problem is that the quotes were attributed by “people familiar with the meeting” rather than actual participants.

The media claims also that the President didn’t “deny the comment” because of the way Deputy Press Secretary Raj Shah responded:

“Certain Washington politicians choose to fight for foreign countries, but President Trump will always fight for the American people…Like other nations that have merit-based immigration, President Trump is fighting for permanent solutions that make our country stronger by welcoming those who can contribute to our society, grow our economy and assimilate into our great nation.”

But the President has denied the remark, not that anyone is really listening. They will run with the “bigot, racist” narrative just because they think he said it, regardless of whether he really did. Didn’t we vote for a man who spoke the truth? Yes, we did.  Now that we have him, people hate him.

Diamond and Silk had something to say about “S.ugar H.oney I.ce T.ea” holes:

We approve the remark. There are at least 40,000 homeless veterans in America that need help. Why should we chose unqualified foreign immigrants over the men and women who laid it all on the line for our nation?

Let’s be candid: most developing countries are “S.ugar H.oney I.ce T.ea holes.” Why do we want more people from nations that don’t share our values? These people who not only can’t contribute to the betterment of our nation but could care less about us?
