Walmart Offered Impeach 45 T-Shirt- Then Removed Them After Backlash
Walmart offers 3rd party products on their website, but this week one of them got the retailer in trouble. An Impeach 45 t-shirt was offered online, and it caused a firestorm as pro-Trump patrons found it. The hashtag #boycottwalmart” became the number 2 trending tag on Twitter. But the backlash caused Walmart to remove the items from their website.
“These items were sold by third party sellers on our open marketplace, and were not offered directly by Walmart. We’re removing these types of items pending review of our marketplace policies.” Walmart statement
The company selling the t-shirts was “Old Glory” and they weren’t the only ones- there were 3 other companies selling impeach merchandise, according to Fox.
This is not the first time a 3rd party clothing item has caused the retail giant problems. Last year, Teespring sold a shirt that said, “Rope. Tree. Journalists. Some assembly required.” That one was removed as well.
I didnt want to believe it. So I searched for myself. This is despicable. All American Walmart? Im out!!! pic.twitter.com/nriCZu9e4a

Of course, the left spent a great deal of time mocking people who called for a boycott of Walmart. Their favorite thing was to call Trump supporters “hillbillies.” There were several references to a civil war. The following are just a few examples:
I’m willing to bet that 90% of the people tweeting #BoycottWalmart right now are gonna be at Walmart, buying some supplies to stock up before we start the civil war tomorrow.
