VP Pence Visits STL Jewish Cemetery Damaged by Vandals
A long, long time ago, in a land far away, there was a country’s sitting Vice President who raked leaves in a Jewish cemetery. Oh, wait, that happened today when VP Pence visited a cemetery in University City, Missouri that had been damaged by vandals.
MO’s people are inspiring the nation w/ their compassion for the Jewish community. Thank you for showing the world what America is all about pic.twitter.com/PWTFLGqqz0

There’s no place in America for hatred or acts of prejudice, violence, or anti-semitism. https://t.co/Flbm88l1Us

The Chesed Shel Emeth Society cemetery in the St. Louis suburb of University City in Missouri saw almost 200 headstones overturned. It left the Jewish community in that town shaken. The cemetery is 124 years old.
News media slant
Muslim groups in the area were fund raising for the cemetery, and raised $91,000 so far, reported by Reuters.
And don’t forget the New York Times is blaming Trump for the damage.
Is Anti-Semitism on the rise in the US?
In the last month alone, 48 U.S. Jewish Community Centers have had bomb threats. Thus far this year there have been 54 bomb threats on the centers in 27 states.
Most authorities are dismissing them as hoaxes because no bombs were found, but the sheer volume is concerning. Evacuations are mandatory and children must leave the schools at the community centers.
Any healing in sight?
When VP Pence visited the cemetery, he stood with the Jewish community members and prayed with them. There was no end to the nasty remarks of the left wing trolls on his Twitter account. One woman tweeted that he was going to “burn in hell” and she could hardly wait until Jesus “raptured her.” Very Christian of her. I’m thinking that ride may be postponed indefinitely.
His conciliatory words will likely fall on deaf ears.
Toward the end of this video, Vice President Mike Pence can be seen raking leaves as an act of kindness, the Jewish “Mitzvah” for doing something for someone that cannot pay you back. When was the last time you saw a Vice President deign to rake leaves?
