Trump Tromps the Hildebeast! Thank You, Deplorables!
Donald J. Trump is the President-elect of the United States. The electoral college went 289 for Trump (CBS totals) and 218 for Clinton. Amazing what a “basket of deplorables” can do.
Republicans retained control of the House and Senate, which means that Trump will have a leg up on his new policies. It doesn’t mean it will be an easy path, and likely it won’t be, but it will be a hopeful one.
The Senate: 51 GOP to 47 Dem
The House: 236 GOP to 191 Dem.
Putin gave a thumbs up this morning, and remarked that he hoped relations would now move “from their crisis state.”
Most leaders expressed their congratulations and said they’d work with Trump. Others were in shock.
French President Francoise Hollande was worried, and said this “opens up a period of uncertainty.” Angela Merkel in Germany said the whole thing may bring “confrontations.” We hope so. That politically correct-bring-in-the-refugees stance of both France and Germany is anathema to a safe society.
Iran, of course continued their “annihilate America” stance, which is nothing new.
Cuba decided to stage 5 days of military exercises because they think Trump will reverse Obama’s open doors to the Communist nation. Trump has stated that unless the Castro regime opens up more freedom for its people, that he would slam that door shut. The last time they did this was when Ronald Reagan was elected. Get it?
We the People
If last night had one message, it was that WE THE PEOPLE still have the reins of the United States of America. The Clinton Crime family, the Obama Liars and Scammers, do not rule our nation. Thanks to the revelations of Wikileaks, Guccifer 2.0, and others, we figured it out in time.
Above and beyond the pundits, the news media, the people who plotted and planned to give Hillary the power…WE WON.
Remember this election, my friends. Our Founders set in motion a document designed to ensure the continuation of the Republic. Over the last decades people have run headlong away from the Constitution, and away from the Judeo-Christian ethic within it.
“In a free and republican government, you cannot restrain the voice of the multitude. Every man will speak as he thinks or, more properly, without thinking, and consequently will judge of effects without attending to their causes.” George Washington
