The Politically Incorrect Sheriff of Harris County, GA
Georgia – Harris County Sheriff Mike Jolley posted a photo of himself next to a sign that is getting quite a lot of attention in Georgia. It didn’t take long for it to get the attention of people who decided to complain. It’s a great sign, and says exactly what many of us are thinking.
“Welcome to Harris County, Georgia! WARNING: Harris County is politically incorrect. We say: Merry Christmas, God Bless America and In God We Trust; We salute our troops and our flag. If this offends you… LEAVE!”
The sheriff has received many positive comments to his post on Instagram Tuesday. The dimwits who hate the message have already threatened legal action.
The first complaints
And that first salvo of complaint came from the American Humanist Association, a group of discontented secularists who hate anything even remotely religious… but not just any religion, they target Christianity almost exclusively. Their nasty letter is at the bottom of this article. They have claimed the sign is unconstitutional and hostile. Did I mention we like it? Yes.
The Sheriff paid $553 for the sign out of his own pocket. He plans to put up more of them around his county when he can.
“I’m humbled by all the attention the sign has received. Over the years, I’ve witnessed the silent majority grow and as a true patriot and a Christian, I felt it was time for the silent majority to speak up. I truly believe what’s on the sign…I believe the vast majority of the people support the troops and support our flag, and I believe the vast majority of the people would like to say if you don’t like that then leave.” Sheriff Jolley
Good for you, Sheriff, fight the good fight.
