Target Starts World War Pee with Transgender Bathroom Policy
Target retail stores seem to have started World War Pee with their announcement that any man who self-identifies as a woman will have access to all women’s restrooms and dressing rooms in all of their stores. The second biggest discount retailer in the nation has gone all-in on appeasing a group that makes up roughly one percent of the population, at the expense of the safety of the vast majority.
The transgender bathroom issue in America today is all about safety and the tearing down of traditional American values. It has nothing to do with inclusivity or discrimination, as they would have us believe. The dangers of molestation, rape, and pictures being taken of girls by men with cell phones are all very real possibilities.
What’s the harm?
It is only a matter of time before fights begin breaking out in stores because a wife or daughter came out of the ladies room and told her husband/father that Stanley, who self-identified as Sheila that day, harassed her in the bathroom. Have fun with those lawsuits, Target.
The push by the far Left in this country to force everyone to accept changes just to make a few fringe types feel more comfortable is also about trying to make the odd seem mainstream. It is simply the latest move in the constant attempt to make “anything goes” acceptable.
The American Family Association (AFA) has started a “Boycott Target” petition, which has gained half a million signatures in less than a week. Of course, the petition may have to be renamed to “Transcott Target” since “BOYcott” now seems to be a sexist term.
AFA stated on their website:
“We want to make it very clear that AFA does not believe the transgender community poses this danger to the wider public. Rather, this misguided and reckless policy provides a possible gateway for predators who are out there.”
The great question that hasn’t been answered yet is this: Where have transgender people been relieving themselves the last few hundred years? Have they been holding it all this time, just waiting for policies to pass that allow them to go wherever they want?
Time will tell how political correctness will affect Target’s bottom line if enough customers take their business elsewhere. One thing is for sure though – World War Pee will be fought between social justice warriors and average people on the battlefield of bathrooms across America.
