Six British Police Officers Attacked: Stabbing, Car Rammings
The first stabbing attack came on September 5, when an attempted carjacker accosted a 25 year old off-duty police officer and demanded his keys. In the last 24 hours, there were 5 more British police officers attacked, according to Breitbart. All of whom were in the West Midlands district of Britain.
The Sept 5 attack was captured on CCTV, as a man in a black hood stabbed the officer several times in the chest. The officer has been released from the hospital, as the knife wounds “were not serious.” However, had the officer been armed, the attacker would have had serious injuries instead. Off duty officers and military are not allowed to be armed in the UK.
Assistant Chief Constable Chris Johnson has praised our officers’ courage and determination to protect the public after five were injured on duty in little more than 24 hours. Read the full story online: https://t.co/vyNU74hFY6 pic.twitter.com/Z9fPym24K9

West Midland Police stated in a press release:
“Just hours earlier another officer was hurt when his police car was rammed several times by a van as he pursued a suspected shop robber in Stechford. He was left with neck and back injuries in the badly damaged patrol car and is now recovering at home.
A 22-year-old man from Yardley was detained by police colleagues nearby running from the scene; he was questioned on suspicion of breaking into Cost Cutter in Cross Road and has been released while enquiries continue.
And in the early hours of Wednesday morning, three armed officers were hurt as their car was also rammed by a vehicle.
They pulled over a suspected stolen car, which had jumped red lights, in Netherton’s Cradley Road but as one approached the vehicle it lurched backwards.
The collision left him with a broken ankle while two colleagues also suffered whiplash injuries as the suspect Audi proceeded to ram their armed patrol vehicle.”
No names of the suspects were released.
