Seattle City Councilwoman Says Yes to May Day Riots

 In Domestic

In recent years on May Day, Seattle has succumbed to riots and property damage. And every year, police officers must face Antifa and other left-wing “protesters.” Now the Seattle city council has even approved the riots (do they even realize it?).

A resolution by Seattle city council member Kshama Sawant called for city employees to have May Day off. The council unanimously approved it. But she said something ominous:

“If we truly want to build a summer of resistance against Trump and the billionaire class, we will need disruptive actions like shutting down airports, like shutting down highways.” Kshama Sawant

Fights, people breaking out car windows with bats and anything else they can find,… to have them be encouraged by an elected official is above and beyond foolish.

Anarchists, or shall we just call them Antifa nazis are recuiting people constantly. With more and more people expected to be in Seattle for the May Day demonstrations…er, riots, they are likely to be bigger and badder than ever before.

The Uber-Liberal Mayor of Seattle claims he’s never heard  or seen her shpiel about the demonstrations.

King5 reported the Mayor said,

“Civil disobedience has a long history in our country and in this city. We need to keep our freeways and our on and off ramps … the state, of course, needs to keep our on and off ramps open. I think it would be unfortunate and perhaps tragic for an elected official to encourage people to confront and engage in confrontations with the police department.” Mayor Ed Murray

Too late, Mayor, it’s already happened. Business owners who must transport goods on May Day are not particularly happy with the situation.

Since city employees can have the day off, we think Seattle Police officers should have the day off too…every single one of them.
