Robert Mueller Testimony: Democrat Disaster
The Robert Mueller testimony today before the House Judiciary Committee turned into an exercise in…dementia? Even Chris Wallace, who is no fan of President Trump, said that Mueller’s “testimony” was a total disaster for Democrats.
“This has been a disaster for the Democrats and a disaster for the reputation of Robert Mueller.” Chris Wallace @FoxNews

I would like to thank the Democrats for holding this morning’s hearing. Now, after 3 hours, Robert Mueller has to subject himself to #ShiftySchiff – an Embarrassment to our Country!

Three hours and thirty four minutes later, Democrats were unable to get Mueller to admit for certain that President Trump colluded with Russia and obstructed the investigation (of course they’ll read that differently). Mostly, he just referred back to his report. He dodged questions 123 times during the session -that’s a lot for a man who was once the head dude over the FBI. At times he didn’t seem to remember what was even in his report.
Congressman Doug Collins stated that “We’ve had the truth for months that no American conspired to throw our elections. What we need today is to let that truth bring us confidence and closure.”

Don’t we wish it would be that easy.
Jay Sekulow, one of the President’s attorneys, tweeted:
“This morning’s testimony exposed the troubling deficiencies of the Special Counsel’s investigation. The testimony revealed that this probe was conducted by a small group of politically-biased prosecutors…”
Mueller also couldn’t remember which President appointed him to the first government position in Boston…he said Bush, it was Reagan. Dementia? Why did the Rep ask that? To prove that Mueller is not an “unbiased Republican.”
The fact that Mueller can't remember whether it was Reagan or Bush 41 who appointed him destroys Ds theory that he's a "good Republican." No GOPer over the age of 40 would confuse Bush 41 with Reagan. Reagan is nearly unassailable for staunch Republicans. #MuellerHearings

The Robert Mueller testimony…testimony?
He also dodged a lot of questions – 123 times to be exact, according to the Gateway Pundit:
“I’d have to pass on that.”
“I’m not going to get into that.”
“That’s an area in which I cannot get into.”
“This is outside my purview.”
“I can’t speak to that.”
“I’m not going to talk to that.”
“I am not going to answer that question.”
“Not going to talk about that.”
“I can’t answer that question in a vacuum.”
“I’m going to pass on that.”
“I’m not going to comment.”
Of course all of this won’t even slow the anti-Trump Democrats down. They’ll try to use it against the President regardless of the way Mueller came off. They will push the lie to the ultimate extreme even if Mueller had completely admitted his own collusion with that small group of partisan prosecutors during the hearing.
“[Nancy Pelosi] may end up, unintentionally, being the big winner today because I don’t think the drive for impeachment gained any momentum, in fact, it may have lost some.” Chris Wallace
