Ohio School Shooting Injures 4

A shooting at Madison Jr/Sr High School in Madison Township, Ohio this morning left 4 students injured, and the student suspect in custody. Injuries to the four students are described as “non-life-threatening.” The school was immediately placed on lockdown, as were schools in nearby Middletown, Edgewood, and Butler.

Four injured

The school is in Butler County, not far from the city of Middletown. Early reports say that an 8th grade student opened fire in the cafeteria, shooting two other students. Two other students were injured by shrapnel. The student shooter is in custody.

Parents panicked over the news jumped in their cars and drove to the scene, only to be blocked off by police who were trying to handle the situation.
