Obama Meltdown – Yells at crowd to regain control

 In opinion, Politics

When Obama lost control of the crowd, he nearly lost control of himself on Friday in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He was speaking for a Hillary rally (just an aside- why is a president stumping for…well never mind), when a man stood up with a Trump sign in the middle of the crowd and began to shout “Trump!”

Chaos ensued as the crowd starting yelling and screaming and chanting “Hillary! Hillary!” They began to boo the man with the Trump sign.

At that point, the president started yelling at the crowd. “Hold up! Hold up!” “Hey hey hey, Hold up!”

But no one listened. The chants and boos seemed to get louder. He had to keep saying it and still no response.

“Everybody sit down and be quiet for a second. Now listen up, I’m serious. Listen up!”

Finally, as things started to settled down, he told the crowd that the man was an “older gentleman supporting his candidate,” and “he’s not doing nothing.” [Grammar check, Mr. “Commander in chief” you should have said he’s not doing anything.]

“This is what I mean about folks not being focused. You weren’t focused just then. First of all, we live in a country that respects free speech. Second of all, it looks like maybe he might have served in our military and we have to respect that. Third of all, he was elderly and we have to respect our elders. And fourth of all, don’t boo, vote!”
