Obama to Bring More Muslim Refugees in the “Surge”

“The surge” is a plan by Obama to process 10,000 Syrian refugees through Jordan by September. TEN THOUSAND. They have hired more people and sped up the process of interviews to bring them here.  It is a process which could literally put the U.S. at serious risk.  The State Department says it’s running behind in their quotas.

Obama openly says that states can’t stop him (they can, but more on that in another article) from sending refugees. Twenty six states have filed a lawsuit against the policy. But running through the courts takes time, and Obama is not wasting one second.

The cost to the states in terms of welfare, benefits, etc. is enormous, as the pressure mounts to make him stop. How many people will have to die after one terrorist slips into the country in all of this hurry-hurry methodology? Oh, wait, it’s already happened in San Bernardino.

“It’s clear that ISIS wants to, has planned on attempting to infiltrate refugee populations. This is a problem. If one person gets through who is planning a terrorist attack in our country, that’s a problem. The administration — whether it’s Homeland Security or the FBI, cannot tell us that they can adequately screen people. There isn’t really a Syria to talk to on that end of the equation to vet people, so it is a problem.” Paul Ryan, House Speaker

The Hill wrote:

“…It is now doing a “surge operation” in Amman, Jordan, that is designed to process the rest of the Syrian refugees in as little as three months and leave them enough time to get to the U.S. before September.

The State Department has devoted more staff in Amman to focus on processing Syrian refugees, as well as hired new employees, which the department says it needed anyway…

…The United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) has prioritized sending more refugees to the U.S. than other countries, he said.

So far, about 9,500 Syrians have been interviewed in Amman since February 1, and 12,000 interviews should be completed by April 28, according to a State Department spokesperson…”

Did you see it? The UNHCR has “prioritized sending more refugees to the U.S. than other countries.” Think about it.

National Security vs sympathy

The first Syrian family departed Jordan in early April, arriving in Kansas City on April 13.  One former Construction worker and his wife, along with 5 children came here after 3 years of waiting. They are from the Syrian city of Homs. An outreach of the Methodist Church is sponsoring them, and jobs for the man have been offered.

Ahmad al-Abboud has even expressed his gratitude to Kansas City for receiving him…”God Bless Kansas City!”

So let’s talk for a minute. As Americans we want to help those who are suffering. But we must ALWAYS be aware of our own National Security. Obama could care less about national security. Of all the refugees brought into the nation, only ONE was a Christian, hundreds of others have been Muslim.

We can feel for Mr. a-Abboud and family as they endured bombs and attacks by all sorts of factions, disrupting their lives. Not all Muslims are evil – but their religion is not one of peace. And THAT is the bottom line.
