Nigeria – Fulani Muslim Militants Slaughter 120 Christians in Three Weeks
Fulani Muslim militants have been slaughtering Christians wherever they find them for some time, but in the last three weeks the death toll has risen to 120. According to Breitbart, they have become an even bigger threat than Boko Haram. In 2018, they killed thousands of Christians.
Around 400 armed Fulani Muslims descended on the villages around Maro at about 6 a.m. on February 26, according to Christian Headlines.
“Please pray for peace in Kaduna state – hundreds have been displaced and hundreds killed by the Fulani jihadists. We evacuated about hundred EMS kids from Kufana for safety. Many of our missionaries working among the Kadara tribe and some in Katari areas have been displaced. Please keep praying for our nation.” Text message from Rev. Bakari Ibrahim to Morning Star Ministries in February
One resident stated that the villagers tried to stand against the armed Muslim group:
“The villagers stood against the Fulani who came fully clothed in military uniform. But they had to withdraw due to high number and superior firepower of the Fulani. Mobile policemen came but also retreated, one operation Yaki [police] vehicle burnt. Military now engaging the Fulani. Battle still going on. Casualties unknown but could be high.”

Just in that ONE battle, over 30 people were killed.
The Fulani jihadists, who have become a greater threat to Nigerian Christians than the Islamist terror group Boko Haram, stormed the villages of Inkirimi, Dogonnoma, and Ungwan Gora in the Kajuru Local Government Area last Monday, destroying 143 homes, killing 52 people, and wounding dozens more.
The assailants reportedly split into three groups, the first of which fired upon the people, the second set fire to buildings, and the third chased down people fleeing from the scene. Victims of the assault included women and children.
Nigeria has become a killing field. The nation at least at one time had 51% Christians, with around 45% Muslims. But with the continued rise of Fulani Jihadists, Christians are in serious jeopardy all through the central belt of the nation. When you’re living it, statistics are irrelevant. A group of women. Graphic images from the massacre showed even children among the dead.
Actual response by the government of Nigeria has been limited.
Nasir El-Rufai, governor of Kaduna State imposed a dawn to dusk curfew. How exactly does that help those who are being slaughtered? It doesn’t.
