National Day for Victims of Communism and the Trump Haters

 In opinion, Politics

The White House declared November 7 as the “National Day for the Victims of Communism” in an effort to bring awareness to those who suffered in the past and those who still suffer in the grip of Communist repressive governments. While some applauded the move, the left tried to use it against the President.

The White House statement  reads in part:

“Over the past century, communist totalitarian regimes around the world have killed more than 100 million people and subjected countless more to exploitation, violence, and untold devastation. These movements, under the false pretense of liberation, systematically robbed innocent people of their God-given rights of free worship, freedom of association, and countless other rights we hold sacrosanct. Citizens yearning for freedom were subjugated by the state through the use of coercion, violence, and fear.”

Over 100 million people have been killed in less than 100 years from an ideology that believes in full control over people’s lives. Communism targets everyone, anyone, and continues to target them today.

Trump haters – pro-Communist

Breitbart reported that left wing publications put out headlines claiming that Trump was a hypocrite for dealing with China and that he didn’t say anything against the Holocaust. Some tweeted that the National Day for Victims of Communism was a “white nationalist talking point.”

The screaming left wing site Salon, said “Trump’s ‘National Day for the Victims of Communism’ is opposite of Holocaust statement.” Yet what Trump REALLY said about the Holocaust was this:

“It is with a heavy heart and somber mind that we remember and honor the victims, survivors, heroes of the Holocaust. It is impossible to fully fathom the depravity and horror inflicted on innocent people by Nazi terror.

Yet, we know that in the darkest hours of humanity, light shines the brightest.‎ As we remember those who died, we are deeply grateful to those who risked their lives to save the innocent.

In the name of the perished, I pledge to do everything in my power throughout my Presidency, and my life, to ensure that the forces of evil never again defeat the powers of good. Together, we will make love and tolerance prevalent throughout the world.” White House statement

Salon’s statement was a blatant lie. Communists are trying to run away with America. With left wing news media and Trump haters favorably reporting them, radical Communist anarchist groups that promote lawlessness, and even a few Communists in our military that are hoping to destroy America from within, we must fight to preserve our nation.

Our own Communism survivor, Rick Ferran, noted:

“Yesterday, November 7, was the National Day for the Victims of Communism. As you all know I was not only a victim but also a survivor. Maybe I missed it, but I sure don’t remember the White House making such an announcement during the eight years of Obama. I am glad there is a day like this in the United States to remind Americans that communism must be destroyed and has no place in our great country. To remind our people of a blood thirsty tyrannical system that has killed at least 100 Million innocent people including children and women world wide and is still killing under the false notion of a fake socialist utopia. It runs on the ignorance of the masses and full gun control. Let’s all vow today to never let Communism win in the United States of America and to keep our children safe from the claws of communist indoctrination.”
