Michigan Gov Whitmer Allows Gay Swinger’s Club To Operate, Goes After Elderly Barber in Court and Loses
You know things are fouled up when Michigan Governor Whitmer allows a gay swinger’s club to be open but had the license of a 77 year old barber yanked for giving haircuts. She also lost in court Thursday after the Michigan AG tried to get an injunction against the barber and the judge said no.
Club Tabu – a Gay Swinger’s Club
Though initially the website for Club Tabu said they closed on March 23, It now says “open.” So a gay swinger’s club can be open but a 77 year old barber who sterilizes everything has to close?
Club Tabu calls itself an underground “alternative men’s club.”
KPRC radio reported,
There is perhaps nothing more confusing than Democrat governors’ orders during the Chinese WuFlu pandemic. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is by far the worst. That was made clear with the news that a gay swinger’s club with “glory holes” is being allowed to operate under her nose in Lansing while she aims her business-killing death ray on 77-year-old barber Karl Manke for giving haircuts.
But strangers servicing each other through holes in a basement wall in the state capitol is perfectly fine. I guess group sex is an “essential” activity in the Democrat-run state of Michigan. The underground private club, Club Tabu, has a website that describes what goes on there. (HT: Steve Gruber)
Unlike Manke, who is sterilizing everything in his barbershop and wearing a mask to cut hair, Club Tabu has no announcement on their social media about what precautions they are taking, if any, to keep people who are engaging in full body contact with strangers safe. In fact, the only messaging they are giving is that they are open. The website FAQ’s says, “Yes, we are still open; if this website is still up – we are open!!!”
The barber who defied her
Meanwhile, the Michigan Attorney General filed for an emergency injunction against barber Karl Manke for having his barbershop open. But Shiawassee County Circuit Court Judge Matthew Stewart decided not to shut him down. Saying it was a close decision, the judge stated that the Attorney General did not show why Manke’s shop was a health risk.
“(The attorney general) has not presented any studies underlying the doctor’s conclusion. (The attorney general) has not shown any nexus between the cutting of hair and an increased risk of transmission. (The attorney general’s) filings rest more on general facts about COVID-19 than specific practices or conditions at (Manke’s) business.” Judge Matthew Stewart
On Wednesday, Manke’s situation inspired the “Operation Haircut,” protest in Lansing where he cut people’s hair during the protest on Capitol grounds (Lansing State Journal).
Will she now turn her “death ray” to Club Tabu? Or will she let them slide as the Attorney General files an appeal against Karl Manke? Inquiring minds want to know.
