 In Breaking News, Domestic

California – An explosion at a Senior  apartment complex early Monday morning may have lured the Long Beach Fire Department to Covenant Manor, a low-income Senior Living complex. Captain Dave Rosa, a 17 year veteran of the Long Beach Fire Department, husband and father of two children, was killed when a suspect opened fire on the responders. Another firefighter and civilian were also wounded. SWAT was called, and the suspect is in custody. ATF is also on scene.

“You go to these scenes and you never know what’s on the other side of those doors, and these brave firefighters went through those doors and unfortunately they were met with gunfire.” Long Beach Police Chief Luna

SWAT evacuated some of the apartments in close proximity. The suspect’s name was not immediately released.

Instead of taking this individual into custody they should have ended his career right then and there. Hope it gets the death penalty.
