London’s Stabbing – Shooting Crisis, Mayor Focuses on Hate Speech
London has a crime crisis. In one week there have been 8 people murdered in stabbings and shootings (wait…the UK has even more rigid gun laws than California). But the city’s Mayor, Sadiq Khan, continues to focus on “hate speech,” or banning motorcycles from downtown London. And Londoners are not happy with him.
London Air Ambulance responded to more stabbings and shootings than traffic accidents in 2017. And it will likely get worse.
The Evening Standard UK reported:
“On March 14, the beginning of the seven-day spate of killings, a teenager was stabbed to death in Chadwell Heath. The 18-year-old, named by police as Lyndon Davis, was the seventh London teenager killed through knife crime this year.
On the same evening, but in a separate incident, 20-year-old Joseph Torres was shot dead as he sat in his stationary car in Walthamstow. A 15-year-old has been charged with murder and another teenager, 17, has been arrested.
A student, aged in his early twenties, died after being shot and stabbed outside a shopping parade in Enfield in the early hours of Saturday morning. The same incident left another man in a serious condition.
A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder after a 42-year-old man was stabbed to death in Hackney. The victim was found with multiple stab wounds on the River Lea towpath on Sunday morning.
Another murder investigation was launched on Sunday after a man was found dead at a hotel in Hounslow just after 11am. Two people have been arrested in connection with the killing but it is not yet known how the man died.
A man in his 40s was killed in a stabbing in Walthamstow, near Wood Street station, on Monday night. A woman aged 36 was arrested two hours later on suspicion of murder. She remains in police custody.
A second man, aged 48, died after turning up at a west London hospital on Monday evening with stab injuries. He is believed to have been injured in an “incident” in Southall.
A man, in his 20s, was stabbed to death on Tuesday night following reports of a “disturbance” at a shopping centre in Stratford Centre.”
The Mayor pledged £1.4 Million for anti-knife initiatives and to “prevent people from becoming involved in violence.” Which will do nothing whatsoever.
London has a serious problem – eight people have now been murdered in stabbings and shootings since last Wednesday – figures have risen since Sadiq Khan took over office as Mayor in the capital.

Has the London mayor done anything at all about these stabbings and shootings? I know that he has told his police to hold back but enough is enough. Time to grow a set and take care of this

@SadiqKhan I’m sure hate speech is a terrible thing. I was once called a West Ham fan on twitter.
How many deaths from stabbings on the streets of London in the past week?

Horrendous what’s happening in London at the moment. Stabbings, acid attacks, shootings. If Boris was in charge, everyone would be screaming. Our mayor should be thoroughly ashamed. #onhiswatch

Another day in London. The daily attacks, stabbings and shootings of young Londoners, with these same gangs mugging and robbing our shops and citizens,is fast becoming part of a normal city life.Police too worried about community groups with agendas, than crushing these crimes. https://t.co/tAuEX3z7K0
