Liberal Hypocrisy – It Burns, Man, It Burns
I had a hard time deciding what to write for my inaugural post here on UncleSamsMisguidedChildren.com. There’s so much out there right now that I’m spoiled for choice, and every time I sat down to write, I ended up glassy-eyed, curled up in a corner of the sofa with a bag of Chex Mix, muttering incoherently. It was bad, I’m not gonna lie. I think I gained a few pounds.
Once the carbohydrate haze wore off, and I was watching the evening news trying not to throw my mug through the television that I can’t afford to replace, one thought kept coming to me:
The hypocrisy from the left BURNS.
Don’t get me wrong. Conservatives can be hypocritical, too, but the sheer volume and abandon with which liberals throw it out there is truly mind boggling. Take a trip with me down that rabbit hole. Just a warning – it isn’t pretty.
The first stop we’ll make on this trip down the hole is to watch Nancy Pelosi in action. I should have warned you not to eat anything heavy before we started – sorry about that. Do any of you remember her now infamous remark, when it came to Obamacare, that we had to “pass it so that we can find out what’s in it”?
You should – it was probably one of the most asinine things ever said from an elected official, right up there with DeLeon’s “ghost gun” performance. Take a look, however, at what she’s saying about the package up to replace that failed experiment:
This week, the Committees on Energy & Commerce and Ways & Means will be marking up Republicans’ long-feared bill to dismantle affordable health care. The GOP legislation will have life or death consequences for tens of millions of families across America, and extraordinary impacts on state and federal budgets long into the future.
The American people and Members have a right to know the full impact of this legislation before any vote in Committee or by the whole House.
Yep. I couldn’t have made such a stunning example of the hypocrisy and double-standards that the liberal Democratic machine spits out if I’d tried. I’m a good writer – I’m not that good.
That leads me to another thought – making things up. You know, the “fake news” that we’ve been hearing about for months? Liberals are really, really good at it; well, maybe not good, but they’re really FOND of it.
Despite the fact that Michael Morrell, a former acting director of the CIA and an advisor to Hillary Clinton’s campaign, has said that he can see NO evidence of a Trump/Kremlin collusion, the media is still pushing this story. You see, that 32 page dossier that has everyone worked up? It was paid for. Let me repeat that – IT WAS PAID FOR. It wasn’t gathered from reliable intelligence sources. How about the fact that a liberal activist paid $9,000 to an Italian source to show that Trump had taken a bribe from Exxon Mobil and distributed the documents he received – only to find out they were forgeries?
What, you really didn’t hear about that? Not surprising – when liberal news sources are proven to be fake, they just disappear. No retraction, no demands for apology. If a conservative news outlet publishes fake news, they’re staked out on an ant hill, naked and smeared with honey.
Remember the “golden showers” story, that the media ran with for WEEKS? Yep – invented by a 4chan user. It had ZERO verifiable sources, no documentation, no NOTHING – and yet the liberal media reported it as though it were gospel. Still, The Atlantic, on February 2, 2017, prints a story that it’s CONSERVATIVES that are susceptible to fake news.
Seriously. I can’t make this up.
Let’s head back to the election. Remember all the “The election isn’t hacked, you’re just losing” tweets that came out, aimed at Trump supporters? I surely do. The videos of voting machines switching votes to the Democratic liar candidate were dismissed as false, and we were told that it wasn’t possible for Russia to hack the election, we were just sore losers. When Trump WON?
OMG THE RUSSIANS!!!!
I’ve got more, but it’ll have to wait until my next post. If there’s a particular instance of liberal hypocrisy you’d like me to explore, let me know!
Ciao for now…
