Do You Know a Liberal Snowflake Who’s Still In the Closet?
Do you have a special someone in your life who is a full-blown liberal snowflake, but they’re still in denial about it? It’s a very sad situation in our society today, but not that uncommon.
There are so many snowflakes on American college campuses these days that blizzard warnings are in effect all year round. So, what exactly is a snowflake? Basically, a snowflake starts as someone who is convinced they are better than you.
Snowflakes exhibit many of the following characteristics:
- Zero accountability
- Habitual whiner
- Easily butt-hurt
- Devoid of reason
- Easily suffers meltdowns
- Will protest any perceived injustice
- Likes – self-loathing, low self esteem, labeling people, socialism
- Loves – Playing the victim
- Hates – America, patriotism, work
Of course, there are many more. The strong belief that they are special (more special than you) is the notion that gives them their air of superiority. If you disagree with them, God help you. And why did you have to be so stupid in the first place?
A snowflake’s emotions dictate most of their stances on issues. Consistency and principles are frowned upon in their community. Also, safe spaces are needed so they will have places where they won’t melt.
Many closeted snowflakes can be identified by items on their person such as a beanie, scarf, man-purse, skinny jeans, a gender studies textbook, lattes, or a mass-produced protester sign.
The term “snowflake” reportedly gained popularity from the movie Fight Club, in which writer Chuck Palahniuk penned the line, “You are not special. You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake.”
Liberals can’t seem to get over themselves though. If you have a snowflake in your life, you have our sympathies. Hopefully, this information will make it easier to spot them so you can learn to steer clear of them.
Then again, if you are the type who likes to engage them, be gentle. They may not actually be unique and special, but THEY think they are.
