The use of an ambulance packed with explosives near a hospital where people were being treated brings a level of barbarity that horrified the citizens of Afghanistan.  The original report stated that 40 people were killed, but that number quickly rose to 95. Officials say the number of dead and injured will rise even further, as many of the victims being treated are in critical condition.
