Israel Banned Omar, Tlaib From Visiting
Israel banned Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib from coming to their country – why? They are rabid supporters of the BDS movement. And they are unrepentant anti-semites. The reaction is mixed, but after all the evidence, it seems like a good one. In Israel such decisions are subject to the court, so we’ll see if it holds up. But in the meantime, cue the firestorm and blame game.
“Israel has decided — we won’t enable the members of Congress to enter the country. We won’t allow those who deny our right to exist in this world to enter Israel. In principle, this is a very justified decision.” Deputy foreign minister Tzipi Hotovely
Times of Israel
Omar and Tlaib have their minds made up regarding Israel. They have compared the nation with Nazis. They’ve grown up in hate-filled, anti-Jewish radical atmosphere. People who have that kind of background will not be “convinced” to love Israel no matter how much Israelis might have tried to show them the democracy in action.
People hoping to “enlighten” the two radical Democrats were disappointed that Israel banned them. Netanyahu mentioned back in July that their visit could be blocked, although he was thinking about letting them visit only certain areas or family members in the PA controlled areas. After Netanyahu’s meeting with advisers on Wednesday, they were banned.
Yes, they are blaming Trump too.
It would show great weakness if Israel allowed Rep. Omar and Rep.Tlaib to visit. They hate Israel & all Jewish people, & there is nothing that can be said or done to change their minds. Minnesota and Michigan will have a hard time putting them back in office. They are a disgrace!

Some in Israel are saying this is a “declaration of war” on the Democrat Party and have fallen into the “racist rhetoric” of President Trump. Not really, it’s a consequence of anti-Semitic statements on the part of the two radical Democrats.
Israeli Law actually says anyone supporting the boycott of Israel may be denied entry, though waivers can be issued. The decision is under review. They were due to arrive in Israel on Friday.
