HR 5087, “Assault Weapons Ban of 2018” – Tyranny’s Child

 In 2nd Amendment

We’ve written before about Rhode Island’s Rep David Cicilline being a “rogue” Congressman that can’t be trusted because he rejected the results of his own poll on gun laws and did what he wanted anyway. On February 26, he introduced HR 5087, the Assault Weapons Ban of 2018. It has 173 co-sponsors, all Democrats, as of 3-2-2018, and has been referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary.

There are 435 members in the House of Representatives.

Government Creating Criminals (Again)

HR 5087 is a BAN on semi-automatic weapons and detachable, higher capacity magazines. If you own them prior to the ban, they are grandfathered into the bill, if after, it’s unlawful for you to buy or possess them. The bill will create criminals, not prevent them. Read the full list of banned weapons and magazine types at HR 5087.

The bill bans semi-automatic weapons, shotguns, pistols and rifles, anything that “requires a separate pull of the trigger to fire each cartridge,” and “utilizes a portion of the energy of a firing cartridge to extract the fired cartridge case and chamber the next round.” ALL AR and AK platforms are banned, as are all Thompson Rifles.

Firearms are exempted only if:

“(A) is manually operated by bolt, pump, lever, or slide action;

“(B) has been rendered permanently inoperable; or

“(C) is an antique firearm, as defined in section 921 of this title.

If an FFL dealer receives a grandfathered banned weapon, they must notify law enforcement.

We have officially entered the realm of tyranny if this bill passes. We urge you to contact your Senators and Representatives immediately and urge them to vote against this bill. Don’t even let it get out of the committee!

All 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives and 34 of the 100 seats in the United States Senate will be contested on November 6, 2018. Between now and then there are several special elections, and several places such as Pennsylvania that have “redistricted” their voting places to favor Democrats. If EVER you needed to pay attention to political situations, this is the time.

    If this bill is to pass I for one will continue to purchase any kind of firearms I want even if I have to buy them off the street and will fight for the 2nd Amendment until the day I die and I encourage all citizens to do the same. Libtards are all about handing over their rights and freedoms over to the Federal Government instead of fighting for We The People ,the assault weapons ban is just another step in the Democratic agenda to turn America into a Socialist Republic and destroy Capitalism! Maybe it’s time for a civil war to fight for our rights since they are being systematically taken away from law abiding citizens. I’m ready to die for the rights of my children and grandchildren. Say no to H.R. 5087 Assault Weapons Ban.
