House Passed $733 Billion NDAA.Trump Threatens Veto.

 In Military, opinion

The House passed a $733 Billion NDAA on Friday, and President Trump has threatened to veto it, according to Reuters. We sincerely hope he does. This NDAA is way out of line, and is filled with numerous Democrat “poison pills.” The vote was 220-197 and not a single Republican voted for it. There are a lot of reasons.

“Gender Neutral” physical standards in the Military? H*** no.

Here are just some of them, according to Tony Perkins at the FRC:

…Extremists like Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) were desperate to slash troops’ resources and turn the measure into another exercise in social activism….

As usual, Pelosi’s party also took the opportunity to turn TRICARE into a free pill dispenser for controversial drugs like Plan B and ella, which can end a pregnancy. Although birth control was already a routine part of the military’s health care plan, this would mark the first time a law would explicitly require forms of contraception that kill embryos. Republicans fought the measure — arguing, like FRC, the Pentagon should be in the business of protecting people, including the unborn. Ultimately, though, they didn’t have the votes to stop it.

Other Democrats rallied around language that would water down the physical standards for troops. Once again, it was Speier lobbying — this time for “gender-neutral” performance measures. FRC, like many other conservatives, argued against the change. The last thing our military needs is to undermine our troops’ readiness with more political correctness. Making matters worse, the amendment, which passed, defines “sex” to include “gender identity,” an obvious swipe at the president’s restrictions on recruits who identify as transgender.

But that’s by no means the whole enchilada. The House passed a version that also put in a provision that requires Trump to ‘ask permission’ from Congress before he goes to war with Iran. It asked for $17 Billion less than Trump requested for the military, which Democrats saw as the way to deny Trump his wall. The bill allows terrorists from Guantanamo Bay to be released into the United States, which is just a backdoor method to shutter the facility. The bill also prohibits the United States from deploying low yield nuclear weapons.

In other words, the House version is a hyperpartisan dig at Trump, instead of caring about the United States or our Military. The Senate version is much less partisan. Keep in mind that the NDAA has previously passed Congress for 60 years without all this left wing garbage. Hopefully, when the final version is completed, all of it will be history and our troops can just do their jobs.

When General Mark Milley testified before Congress last week, he endured grilling by leftist Democrats that know absolutely nothing about warfighting, physical standards or anything else, and could care less. They’re as dumb as stumps. Actually, stumps are smarter than the left wing Democrats. At least stumps don’t talk.

Mr. President just veto it, this is another way to get transgender, neutral- gender policies. As a veteran I see individuals that elected to become a transgender person before and during military service either should not be medicaly qualified, do to medicine they need to receive to continue their transformation. Finish your contract, do it then.
