High School Textbook “By the People” Says Trump Mentally Ill, Racist
A high school textbook titled “By The People,” published by Pearson, a British textbook publisher, has been revealed as blatantly biased. Written by James Fraser, a New York University professor, it refers to the President as mentally ill, racist, and his followers as raging racists. It also bashes police. The indoctrination level of the text is off the charts.
Here are a couple of excerpts from the book, a sample of which was sent to Rosemount High School in Minnesota, and photographed by a teacher’s aide:
“Trump’s supporters saw the vote as a victory for the people who, like themselves, had been forgotten in a fast-changing America–a mostly older, often rural or suburban, and overwhelmingly white group. Clinton’s supporters feared that the election had been determined by people who were afraid of a rapidly developing ethnic diversity of the country, discomfort with their candidate’s gender, and nostalgia for an earlier time in the nation’s history. They also worried about the mental instability of the president-elect and the anger that he and his supporters brought to the nation.”
“Whatever people’s opinions, on January 20, 2017, Donald J. Trump was inaugurated as the forty-fifth president of the United States. The inner circle of his advisors seemed to represent a mix of some deeply ideological conservatives, traditional politicians, and his family. His cabinet nominees were mostly highly successful business leaders who had made their fortunes and were now joining the team of another unusually successful businessman. They were largely white males, more so than any presidential cabinet since Ronald Reagan.”
“Most thought that Trump was too extreme a candidate to win the nomination, but his extremism, his anti-establishment rhetoric, and, some said, his not-very-hidden racism connected with a significant number of primary voters.”
The British publisher feels that the textbook is just fine. Fox News reported,
Pearson spokesman, Scott Overland, told Fox News the textbook was “developed by an expert author and underwent rigorous peer review to ensure academic integrity.” He added that it was “designed to convey college-level information to high school students” and “aims to promote debate and critical thinking by presenting multiple sides” of the 2016 election.
Overland added that they welcome feedback for their texts and are willing to meet with concerned parents and teachers “as a part of our longstanding commitment and track record of providing unbiased and accurate materials.”
That textbook is most assuredly not “unbiased.” It uses Clinton’s viewpoint that Trump Supporters are “fearful, backwards, sexist people,” according to Fox. The innuendo is that all Trump supporters are racists according to The Blaze.
In case you didn’t think there was an effort going on in public schools to indoctrinate kids with an anti-conservative agenda, a friend of mine took pictures and highlighted parts of this AP US History book. pic.twitter.com/rj2AN3MIqI

An Anti-police portion about the Ferguson riots claimed,
“The nearly all-white police force was seen as an occupying army in the mostly African American town…the police increased the tensions, defacing memorials set up for Brown and using rubber bullets on demonstrators…”
So, America, let’s think about this for a minute. This is a high school textbook aimed squarely at Conservatives, police, and the President. The inference is that all of us, including white police officers, are racist because we supported Trump. This liberal so-called “professor” thinks he is creating “lively debate” when, in fact, he is attempting to create liberal clones who lock-step believe the lies foisted on them by teachers.
