Hank Johnson Calls Trump Supporters Older, Less Educated, Less Prosperous

 In opinion, Politics

Rep Hank Johnson stepped into a large muddy mess with his New Year’s Day speech. Among other things, he said that Trump supporters are “less educated” – there are a plethora of Trump supporters with college degrees and none of them ever said that Guam was going to tip over. THAT’s less educated, Mr Johnson.

“I have a message for Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA): The only bat shit crazy people dying off are the race baiting Democrats and globalists in DC. The only people ignorant and out of touch with reality are the Democrats like Hank Johnson who think Guam is going to tip over.” Rick Ferran, Uncle Sam’s Misguided Children

Johnson’s New Year’s Day speech reflected not only a lack of education, but  a deep-seated prejudice that is unbecoming to a member of Congress – especially someone from Georgia. Here it is, in part:

“Americans elected an authoritarian, an anti-immigrant, racist strongman to the nation’s highest office Donald Trump and his ‘Make America Great Again’ followers who want to return American back to a time where white men and white privilege were unchallenged, and where minorities and women were in their place.

Donald Trump supporters are older, less educated, less prosperous, and they are dying early. Their lifespans are decreasing, and many are dying from alcoholism, drug overdoses, liver disease, or simply a broken heart caused by economic despair.

Charismatic and a good public speaker, deceptive, and cunning, Adolf Hitler rose to power to lead Germany in 1932 after Democratic elections. He rode a wave of nationalism and anti-Semitism to power. Replace anti-Semitism with ‘all Latinos crossing our borders are rapists, drug dealers, and murderers,’ does that sound familiar?

Much like how Hitler took over the Nazi party, Trump has taken over the Republican party. Hitler was accepting of violence toward the achievement of political objectives. Trump encouraged violence against protesters at his rallies, and his messaging about Charlottesville, that there were bad people on both sides, sent a powerful message of approval to the far right racists in America.

Americans, particularly black Americans, can’t afford to make that same mistake about the harm that could be done by a man named Hitler or a man named Trump.”  From the Daily Wire

He thinks we’re older and dying off from liver disease or a “broken heart.” He’s older and dying off. I’m living forever, and so is Trump. Where he’s going I’ve no clue.

He’s not a good one to talk about anti-Semitism after he has been bashing Israel for years.

His hair is grayer than mine and we’re about the same age. As far as “dying of liver disease” goes, that’s attacking Trump supporters for being alcoholics – and we’ve seen some pretty raunchy booze-guzzling from Democrats over the years.

As far as “less prosperous” goes, we’re far more prosperous than the constant complainers in the liberal world. We have joy because our sense of humor hasn’t been riddled with hate and violence.

“Constant complaint is the poorest sort of pay for all the comforts we enjoy.” Benjamin Franklin

Oh, wait, that’s right, Benjamin Franklin was one of those “rich, old white men” he and his buddies hate so bad.

The fact is that America was not built on complaints. It was built on the bloodshed of our military both then and now. The blood of troops that were and are of all colors and races, not just white. Is it ‘white privilege” to die for a country?

It was built on HOPE. It was the hope of a new land of true freedom. But whiners like Hank Johnson and all the other race-baiting liberals should remember this: black unemployment is WAY down under Trump. That should be news for celebration. Instead, we get complaining. Hitler never hired black people, or any other race, by the way. Hitler was a socialist- a left winger- the National Socialist Worker’s Party. That’s another educational issue that Mr. Johnson seems to have missed in his two college degrees.
