Guns and Ammo in Virginia – 2A Rights on the Line

 In 2nd Amendment

There’s a fight brewing in Virginia, as we’ve been telling you. With guns and ammo in Virginia “flying off the shelves,” it looks to be a humdinger. And the man who bought the election there, Michael Bloomberg, thinks “average” citizens shouldn’t be allowed to carry guns.

The Virginia legislature will be sworn in on January 8, 2020. But on January 20, thousands of people from all over the country are slated to descend on Richmond in a show of support for Virginians against the proposed attack on the 2nd amendment.

Organizers are expecting around 50,000 people to show up. Because the 20th is Martin Luther King Day, and a federal holiday, most of the newly sworn in people will not be there. It’s also true that rallies scheduled are not always rallies attended. Will this be the case?

“Flying off the shelves”

Gun stores in Virginia have been experiencing a run on guns and ammo, according to an article in the Washington Examiner. And the emphasis has been on using cash, not credit cards because of a proposal to track gun owners by their gun purchases, as we previously reported.

“Every time [Obama] turned around he was going to ban something or make something illegal. But even that isn’t even close to the amount of sales we’re selling right now of magazines, of guns, of every kind of gun from pistol, rifle, shotguns, to AR platforms. We can’t keep it in stock.” Jerry Rapp, owner of SpecDive Tactical, in Alexandria

Billionaire blunder?

The billionaire presidential wannabe, Michael Bloomberg, made the erroneous statement after the West Freeway Church of Christ shootings that: “It’s the job of law enforcement to carry guns that kill. We just can’t “let” the average American have guns in a crowded place…gun control saves lives…”

He knows full well that gun control does no such thing, and his total ignorance on our history reveals a fool. Remember, it was Bloomberg’s money that bought the Virginia election for Democrats.

Gun rights groups such as the VCDL – Virginia Citizens Defense League – are gearing up in an attempt to save the 2nd amendment in the state.

So what will happen as the Democrats take control in Virginia? It’s anyone’s guess. But from the looks of things, there’s a fight brewing and it could be a big one.
