Georgia Man Shoots Would-be Robber at Family Dollar Store

 In 2nd Amendment

DeKalb County, Georgia – just before 10 a.m. on Tuesday, a man walked into the Family Dollar store on Covington Highway, pulled a gun on a clerk, and demanded money. It was the last thing he would ever do, as a ‘good guy with a gun’ took him out.

11Alive reported,

According to DeKalb Police Sgt. Lynn Shuler, the robber had a gun pointed directly at the face of the clerk who was standing at the front counter of the store.

“While the store was getting robbed, a Good Samaritan intervened,” Shuler said. “He shot the suspect several times.”

The customer heard the commotion at the front of the store and when he walked to the front, saw the would-be robber with his gun pointed at the face of the clerk, Shuler said. The customer, who was also armed, pulled his own weapon and fired at the robber.

The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.

The customer who came to the clerk’s rescue heard what was transpiring, and acted to put a stop to it. Police stated that the “Good Samaritan” would not be charged. There were at least three customers and two employees in the store at the time of the incident. No other people were harmed.

As usual, the leftists threw a fit that a man was shot to death at a Dollar Store.

The thing all these people are missing is that the “Good Samaritan” in the Bible saved the life of the person who had been beaten and robbed. In those days, even now, someone who has been beaten severely and left alone could die. It’s about saving lives, and the customer with the gun did just that. Armed robbers aren’t generally your average nice person who deserves a slap on the wrist. If they are using a weapon to demand money, they are likely to harm someone.

The clerk was “rattled,” according to police but unharmed. And that’s the way it should be…no one else injured.
