Fresno Football Watch Party Turns Deadly – 4 Killed, 6 Wounded
Fresno, CA- A family’s outdoor football watch party Sunday night turned deadly, when a gunman “sneaked” into the backyard event and began shooting. Four people were killed, 6 wounded. The party to watch the Los Angeles Rams-Chicago Bears Sunday Night Football game had at least 25 people in attendance, some children. The suspect remains at large.
Police are searching for a motive, but says that at this point they do not know if it was gang related. The victims were all Asian males ages between 25 and 35. Three of them died at the scene, another died later at the hospital.
Police are reviewing surveillance video of the surrounding homes to see if they can spot a vehicle used by the suspect(s). It is also unclear at this point whether there was one shooter or more.
USA Today reported,
It was not immediately clear how many shots were fired, but all the shots were apparently fired outside, police said.
“What we do know is that this was a gathering, a family and friend gathering in the backyard, ” police Lt. Bill Dooley said. “Everyone was watching football this evening when unknown suspects approached the residence, snuck into the backyard and opened fire.”

California has rigid gun control laws, as you all well know. Yet the anti-gun crowd screams for more control after incidents like this. But the sad fact is, this and the other recent shootings prove that rigid gun control does NOT work. It’s not “common sense” in any sense at all. Liberals can’t see the issue – they are blinded by the media and the anti-gun thought process.
