FBI Fallout Begins: Andrew McCabe Fired Two Days Before Retirement

 In Politics

Two days before he would have retired with a lifetime pension, former FBI assistant director Andrew McCabe was fired by the Attorney General. The move came after it was learned that McCabe lied to investigators.

“Pursuant to Department Order 1202, and based on the report of the Inspector General, the findings of the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility, and the recommendation of the Department’s senior career official, I have terminated the employment of Andrew McCabe effective immediately…After an extensive and fair investigation and according to Department of Justice procedure, the Department’s Office of the Inspector General (OIG) provided its report on allegations of misconduct by Andrew McCabe to the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR).” Attorney General Jeff Sessions

But Andrew McCabe will likely not be the only FBI official, and those connected to them, to feel the heat in upcoming weeks. A report due to be released by the Inspector General, Michael Horowitz, is expected to produce explosive information. Former FBI Assistant Director Chris Swecker referred to it as “pure TNT.”

“The behavior if it’s manifested in the action with your thumb on the scale of a particular investigation, one way or the other, that’s borderline criminal behavior — manipulating an investigation. I think this IG report is going to be particularly impactful, more so than any of these useless congressional investigations. I think you’re going to see some pure TNT come out in this IG report.” Chris Swecker

The Inspector General’s report is expected to show that McCabe allegedly told agents to alter their interview notes (302s). If that is the case, then he committed the criminal offense of obstruction, not just an ethical one.

The Senators requesting a special counsel to investigate the FBI’s actions with regard to their so-called “investigation” into Russian meddling would include who knew that the Steele Dossier was funded by the Democrats and when did they know it.

“We respectfully request that you conduct a comprehensive review of potential improper political influence, misconduct, or mismanagement in the conduct of the counterintelligence and criminal investigations related to Russia and individuals associated with (1) the Trump campaign, (2) the Presidential transition, or (3) the administration prior to the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller.”

Democrats and their investigative cronies placed the entire nation in jeopardy for political reasons. There’s a lot of mud in the DC swamp right now, and sucking it all out is going to be interesting.

“There are three things in the world that deserve no mercy, hypocrisy, fraud, and tyranny.” Frederick William Robertson (1816-1853)
