Eleven States Sue Obama Over Transgender Policy

Texas, Alabama, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Utah, Georgia, Arizona and Maine are all listed on the lawsuit against the Obama bathroom policy. It’s at minimum, the sixth lawsuit against the Federal government brought by states against this administration.

“Defendants have conspired to turn workplace and educational settings across the country into laboratories for a massive social experiment, flouting the democratic process, and running roughshod over commonsense policies protecting children and basic privacy rights.”

The states are frustrated with the government on nearly all levels. There are lawsuits pending on the transgender issue (11), the ACA -Obamacare (27), Amnesty (26), the EPA and Coal Regulations (24), EPA and water regulations (27), and Federal land grabs (12).

Nonbinding, but coercion just the same

The Transgender issue, like all the others, has been created by a President who has no regard whatsoever for the separation of powers under the Constitution.

Threats to pull federal education funding didn’t set well with these states.

Texas Governor’s statement

Some of the Attorneys General commented:

“I was just on CNN explaining that Congress should create laws, not the President. And as the Texas Attorney General, it’s my job to enforce the law and not allow President Obama’s lawlessness.” Ken Paxton, Texas Attorney General

“We will not accept this coercion from this administration, putting politics over people with the President’s blatant attempts to force feed ideology to the states. Share if you agree: Alabama should stand her ground.” Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange

“The President and the Governor may identify as infallible, but the law disagrees.”  Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry

No other administration has been flooded with this many lawsuits. It will interesting to see if they go forward in the courts. The problem with lawsuits is that even if they proceed, and even if the judge rules in the states’ favor, this lawless bunch of criminals won’t comply with any ruling.
