EgyptAir Pilot had Ties to Islamic Terrorist

 In Foreign

Investigations are still underway in the mysterious disappearance of the EgyptAir Flight MS804, which went missing en route between the Charles De Gaulle Airport in France and its destination in Cairo, Egypt. Misguided Children reported on this immediately after the authorities released the first bit of information.

Though the wreckage has been found, the black boxes have not, and the question of whether this was an act of terrorism remains to be answered.

A Likely Alliance

A major breakthrough in this story has shown that the pilot of the aircraft, Captain Ahmad Shukeir, had a known link with a practicing Islamic preacher and tele-evangelist by the name of Amr Khaled. Khaled is a known associate of the Muslim Brotherhood, and the official website of the Muslim Brotherhood reported that Amr Khaled met with Grand Imam of al-Azhar al-Ahmed al-Tayeb in January 2011. The website claims that the participants discussed how they can initiate peace between the Coptic Christians and the Muslims who reside in Egypt.

The proof of the alleged link between Khaled and the pilot, Shukeir, is the following tweet posted in Arabic by Khaled himself after the disappearance of Flight MS804. The English translation is captioned below.

“I was with Captain Ahmad Shukeir in the plane that is missing in one of my journeys. He is the kindest of pilots whom I traveled with. May Allah have mercy on him and give patience to his family. I hope who reads my words to pray for him and the rest of the passenger”

A Terrorist with Ties to Benghazi

Walid Shoebat, the purveyor of Shoebat.com has confirmed that Amr Khaled, by his own admission, has aided terrorists in various parts of the Middle East, and has publicly called for a Jihadist victory. Walid Shoebat is a former Muslim terrorist and scholar who, through the study of the Hebrew Bible, converted to Christianity and is now fighting to expose the true terrorist nature of Islam.

This video on CairoPortal.com features a video of well-known journalist and TV personality Ahmad Musa correctly calling out Khaled for his acts of terrorism. The website is in Arabic, but an up-to-date browser should offer the user a pop-up to automatically translate the page to English.

Please note that the translated text will be choppy at best. Shoebat himself translated the words spoken by Amr Khaled in the video to English and published the shocking comments on his website. Khaled said:

“This is a message to our brothers in Mistrata, Tripoli and Benghazi. May Allah get vengeance from the evil doers (West). Allah will give you victory. We pray for you day and night. We sent young men to aid you [from Egypt] from our program Makers of Life to Benghazi. We sen[t] you doctors. I dispatched a team and will communicate with you continually with the team in Benghazi and we will do our efforts and continue communicating via Youtube. We want [Islam’s] justice to be established through your hands in Libya.”

New Developments

An additional video on Shoebat.com depicts Khaled again admitting to sending aid to terrorists in Benghazi. If this information is not enough to strengthen the theory that this was in fact terrorism, The Associated Press and The Independent have both confirmed forensics reports on some of the bodies found at the wreckage – they are dismembered, show signs of burns and indicate that an explosion of some sort is the cause of the crash.

“Phil Giles, a former air safety investigator who worked on the Lockerbie Bombing case, told The Independent that images of wreckage published on Saturday added to mounting indications the plane broke up mid-air. ‘All the evidence so far, including the pictures, indicates that the aircraft broke up at altitude rather than when it impacted the sea,’ he said. ‘Aircraft do infrequently brake up as a function of severe weather; however, this wasn’t a factor in this accident. Modern aircraft such as the A320 don’t have a habit of suffering major structural failure unless there is some external factor like a BUK missile as in the case of MH17, or an internal device.’”
