Democrat Narratives Blown Up in Missile Strike
There are many factors that got swept out the door with Trump’s decision to attack Syria yesterday, and one of them – a major one- is the idea that he is a “puppet” of Russia. Then there was Nikki Haley telling the UN Security council that the US would not tolerate Chemical Weapons anymore, and demanding that any conversation that tried to justify Assad for the chemical attack take place in public for all to hear.
“The clever combatant imposes his will on the enemy, but does not allow the enemy’s will to be imposed on him.” Sun Tzu in The Art of War
That “Russian puppet” thing
Democrats are now scrambling to get new ammunition, since their main “Russia” thing pretty much collapsed with 59 Tomahawk missiles. If he was a “puppet” of Russia, the missile strike would never have happened.
Occupy Democrats now claim that Trump actually lost because the Syrian army was evacuated before the missiles struck. The purpose was to give Assad a bloody nose, and minimize casualties, not wipe out the entire Syrian army.
Their only ammo left is to demand that Trump seek Congress for action next time. But sometimes ‘fait accompli’ is the best answer.
Do you all remember the bragging of members of the Obama administration that they got rid of ALL the chemical weapons in Syria?
Fox reported in part,
Josh Earnest, then Press Secretary noted,
…the “declared chemical weapons stockpile that Assad previously denied existed has now been acknowledged, rounded up, removed from the country and destroyed precisely because of the work of this administration and our successful efforts to work with the Russians to accomplish that goal.”
Then there was Susan Rice:
“We were able to find a solution that didn’t necessitate the use of force that actually removed the chemical weapons that were known from Syria, in a way that the use of force would never have accomplished,” she boasted. “We were able to get the Syrian government to voluntarily and verifiably give up its chemical weapons stockpile.”
And John Kerry:
“We struck a deal where we got 100 percent of the chemical weapons out.”
Suuuurrrre they did.
Nikki Haley, the US Ambassador to the United Nations, put all of that in a nice neat package with her speech before the Security Council when she stated that either Russia was ‘complicit,’ ‘incompetent,’ or ‘being played for a fool.’ There is most assuredly a new sheriff in town.
