Court- Illegals have the Right to “Bear Arms” under 2nd Amendment

Let me start off this article with the following two quotes:

“We the people of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Prosperity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” 2nd Amendment

7th Circuit Court of Appeals- redefining the Constitution

Court says illegals can bear arms and are protected under the 2nd amendment

Earlier this week, the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the 2nd Amendment also applies to people that are in this country illegally. Let me say that in a different way, the United States Constitution is now said to apply to anyone that is able to get here by whatever means. Crossing the border from the South, crossing the border from the north, and even by boat. It doesn’t matter.

So, now not only do the illegals get all the freebies they could possibly want, now they get the benefits of our Constitution. I for one, am outraged by this ruling!

Let’s look at the Constitution for a moment. The very first statement in the “Preamble” states pretty clearly, “We The People of the United States…” That implies that it is referring to U.S. Citizens. Let’s go to the dictionary for a definition of the word people and citizen.

People: Humans making up a group or assembly or linked by a common interest.

Citizen: A native or naturalized person who owes allegiance to a government and is entitled to protestion from it.

So, from reading these definitions, we can see that the Constitution applies to “people” that are “citizens” of this country. That excludes illegals, those that are here without legal status. They sneaked into this country. They have not gone through the process of becoming a U.S. Citizen. Period! Hence the term illegal. Not legal. Against the law. Subject to arrest and deportation.

Definitions revised by the courts

Not in this country, apparently. Somewhere there has to be a way to work for and earn your citizenship in this country. Oh, wait, there is. We have laws (on the books) that spell out exactly what it takes to become a U.S. Citizen.

Countless millions have throughout our history. All coming here for the chance to achieve the “American Dream.” They have craved our way of life and the associated freedoms. They have endured a rough road to get here. It’s not easy. Not intended to be. You have to want it bad enough to do what it takes. Many have dies in the process. Many have succeeded. This is the way this country was designed to work.

Now, it seems, the process that has worked for over 200 years has been discarded and kicked to the curb. We now grant instant “citizenship” to anyone that can make it over the border. No need to swear allegiance to this country. No need for a commitment at all.

This is a dangerous precedent we are setting. Anyone who hates America and has thoughts of malice and destruction in their heart can come to our shores and is now ‘protected by our Constitution.’ All rights and privileges afforded. No fear of being caught.

If they are caught, they are once again ‘protected by our Constitution’ and afforded due process. BS! I can not even begin to express my outrage at this travesty of our legal system. This is yet another hole put in our sovereignty and stability. This is a direct threat to our nation and our security. Pretty typical of our extreme Liberal government and there seems to be no end in sight.
