Countdown: Four Minutes to WWIII if Iran launches a Nuke

 In Foreign, opinion

Iran launches a nuclear missile. The surrounding Middle East nations have exactly 4 minutes to react. Four minutes to nuclear war and mass destruction. Four minutes to WWIII. Would Iran really do it?

Middle Eastern nations have interceptors,  patriot Missiles, but as we previously reported, the systems do not yet talk to one another, so their shield defense system is not particularly effective.

Four minutes to react if Iran sends out a nuclear missile

This week, the world heard that the Ayatollah Khamenei  will not allow nuclear inspectors access to interview any Iranian scientists, nor will he allow inspection of Iranian military sites. In a speech at the graduation at Imam Hussein Military University in Tehran, he denounced what he views as “accelerating” demands by the United States prior to the final nuclear deal that is supposed to culminate at the end of June.

“They say new things in the negotiations. Regarding inspections, we have said that we will not let foreigners inspect any military center.” Ayatollah Khamenei

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) which is charged with inspection of nuclear sites, wants to interview an Iranian scientist who is in charge of the nuclear program- they believe he is akin to Robert Oppenheimer, who oversaw the Manhattan Project. His name is Mohsen Fakhrizadeh. But it appears as if the Ayatollah will shield him from the inspectors, and the secrets about their program that he knows will continue to be hidden.

The New York Times wrote,

The scientists and engineers Mr. Fakhrizadeh has assembled over the past 15 years are best suited to explain, or rebut, documents suggesting that Iran has extensively researched warheads, nuclear ignition systems and related technologies

None of his laboratories have been made available to inspectors, none of his scientists… What is he doing there?

Muslims don’t share with Muslims. Politics keep getting in the way. Saudi Arabia is frantically trying to get more weapons, even more nukes from Pakistan. Saudi Arabian Sunnis have even found themselves on the same side as Israel when it comes to worry over the Iranian nuclear deal. Their missile systems do not talk to one another. UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, all in the line of fire for a missile on the way to Saudi Arabia.

Will the US wake up in time? Will the countries of the middle East wake up in time? Would Iran do it? For dominance in the world, they might. The clock is ticking.
