Could this be the Epicenter of WWIII? The Russia/US Breakup over Syria
After 62 Syrian troops loyal to Assad were killed in an airstrike in Aleppo, Syria a couple of weeks ago, the war of words has escalated to a crescendo. Could it lead to WWIII? Russia accused the US of siding with terrorists, the US accused Russia of airstrikes on its allies, Britain says Russia is lying. Now the US is saying that it will suspend working with Russia on a solution to the Syrian conflict.

WWIII – is it possible in this situation?
Here’s the rub. As we reported previously, Russia and the US came to an agreement to work together militarily – that was during the week long cease-fire brokered by Russia. Then 62 members of Assad’s forces were killed by a US/coalition airstrike. We said it was a “mistake” and were trying to target ISIS.
Russia also continues to target Syrian rebels that were reportedly working with coalition forces, but are considered terrorists by Russia (specifically Jabhat al-Nusra, the al-Qaeda linked terror group). They demand that the group sever all ties to al-Qaeda.
Oh, but it gets worse from there:
Israeli and Western intelligence officers killed in missile strike
Veteran’s Today reported on September 22,
The Russian warships stationed in Syria’s coastal waters targeted and destroyed a foreign military operations room, killing over two dozen Israeli and western intelligence officers.
“The Russian warships fired three Caliber missiles at the foreign officers’ coordination operations room in Dar Ezza region in the Western part of Aleppo near Sam’an mountain, killing 30 Israeli and western officers,” the Arabic-language service of Russia’s Sputnik news agency quoted battlefield source in Aleppo as saying on Wednesday.
The operations room was located in the Western part of Aleppo province in the middle of sky-high Sam’an mountain and old caves. The region is deep into a chain of mountains.
Several US, Turkish, Saudi, Qatari and British officers were also killed along with the Israeli officers. The foreign officers who were killed in the Aleppo operations room were directing the terrorists’ attacks in Aleppo and Idlib.
Was that retaliation? OR another “mistake?”
The US is angry about the Russian/Syrian airstrikes on Aleppo; Russia is angry at US Airstrikes. Russia conducted a missile strike that killed many western intelligence personnel. Some say Russia is prepping for war, according to the Daily Mail, by building dozens of underground bunkers.
