Concentration Camps: AOC Arrogant Ignorance Catches the Attention of Poland

 In Politics

When AOC (Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) tweeted that President Trump was running “concentration camps” at the border and likened him to Hitler, she cheapened the deaths of millions for personal political points. She accused the US of putting people in “cages”, “freezers” and “dog kennels.” Even a member of the government of Poland was upset with her for playing politics with a painful part of history.

First fact: Nazi concentration camps killed millions. No one was allowed to leave. The Japanese internment camps were horrifying, absolutely. It should never have happened to them, period. But numerous interred men joined the most decorated unit in the War- the 442nd. They went from prisoners to heroes. Racism, yes. Enduring hate, yes, but in no way were those internment camps anything like the Nazi concentration camps. Where were the ovens? The gas chambers? The mass executions? The Medical experiments that maimed or killed hundreds of thousands? There were none.

Enter: Poland.

A letter from Polish official Dominik Tarczynski to AOC extended an invitation for her to go to his country and see the truth of history and maybe learn something. Not that she will take him up on it, because she’s too arrogant. The letter reads in part, according to Human Events:

While under German Nazi Occupation, a number of concentration camps were set up in my country, Poland. It has caused a deep wound that persists on our proud Polish and European history that we must all deal with every single day and that we reaffirm to one another can never be forgotten, and never allowed to happen again.

This is why when someone cheapens the history, or uses it for political point-scoring, we become agitated and upset.

With this in mind however, I wish to extend the olive branch of education to you Congresswoman, and would be delighted if you would accept to come to Poland and study the concentration camps here for real so that you can see first hand how different it is from your immigration processing centeres on the US border.

At your convenience, we could visit Auschwitz-Birkenau, Treblinka, Belzec, Sobibor, or Majdanek.

At these camps and others, over three million human souls were extinguished and millions more detained and affected directly.”

concentration camps

The conditions at the southern border are not good. The facilities are overcrowded, and diseases are everywhere. Even our own Border Patrol agents have often contracted the maladies brought by migrants. But they are not concentration camps, and no one has dehumanized their suffering. The border has been overwhelmed and there is no place to put them, which is why so many have been released. But no one has marched them into ovens or released poisonous gases or executed them, shoving them into railroad boxcars or mass graves.

The left continues to scream references to things that are not comparable. All because they hate President Trump. They refuse to fix anything or stop the problem because they are filled with hate. Little Miss “Pompous Twit” needs to do a little navel watching before pointing fingers.

She will never take him up on his offer because it would make her look stupid in her eyes, we already know she is stupid.
