Come and Take It: Congressman Challenges Beto and Biden to Come and Take His AR

 In 2nd Amendment, opinion, Politics

Congressman Ken Buck, (R-Colo) is a 2nd amendment supporter from way back. He is running for his fourth term in Congress, and posted a re-election ad on Twitter with a strong 2A message. After Joe Biden said he was going to utilize Beto O’Rourke to deal with his gun control agenda, Rep Buck issued a challenge: Come and take it.

“I have just one message for Joe Biden and Beto O’Rourke, if you want to take everyone’s AR-15s, why don’t you swing by my office in Washington, D.C. and start with this one?

Come and Take it. #2A.”

O’Rourke immediately tweeted, “This guy makes the case for both an assault weapons ban and a mandatory buyback program better than I ever could. These are weapons of war that have no place in our communities, in our politics or in our public discourse.”

In fact, everytime Beto opens his mouth, he makes the best case for the 2nd Amendment: a tyrannical government bent on disarming law abiding citizens. And as we constantly tell stupid liberals, ARs are not “weapons of war.” Libs are so deceived that they’ll never figure it out. It’s like arguing with a piece of granite. Actually, the granite is smarter.

Rep Buck’s website has this to say:

“After failed presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke infamously said, “Hell yes we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47” on the debate stage last September, Democratic frontrunner Joe Biden recently announced that he will put O’Rourke in charge of his gun control efforts. Biden said he’s “counting on” O’Rourke to “take care of the gun problem” for him.

Rep. Ken Buck has just one message for the gun-grabbing duo: Come and take it.

“I have always been a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment and will continue to stand up to any attacks on the law-abiding gun owners of Colorado’s Fourth District,” Rep. Buck said.

Rep. Buck was given permission from Capitol Hill Police to display this unloaded, locked, American flag-wrapped AR-15 in his office located in the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington, D.C.”

The AR in Rep Buck’s office is inoperable because of Washington DC’s left-wing gun policies. He had its bolt carrier assembly removed prior to hanging it up in his office.

The message was clear, and Beto totally missed the point. Surprise.
