Chinese Propaganda Network Phoenix TV Gets Into White House Presser

How is it that the WHCA can force out an objective news service like One America News Network, and allow a Chinese propaganda station into the White House coronavirus presser?  Yesterday’s news conference revealed a new addition: a Phoenix TV reporter- straight from the Communist Party of China. President Trump smoked her out.

Trump answered her question in his usual Trump way, but she should never have been at the briefing. The news headlines reported the exchange as a “tense” back and forth with Trump. But should the President have to deal with Chinese propaganda too? No.

The White House Correspondents Association (WHCA) is a hotbed of left wingers who recently kicked out One America News Network Correspondent Chanel Rion because the White House specifically invited her and they didn’t want her there. They said she “violated the restricted seating policy.” No, she was a Conservative. The Phoenix TV reporter should never have been granted access.

Chinese propaganda

Phoenix TV is known for being a “nominally private,” but mostly state-owned Chinese propaganda network. They’ve been broadcasting since March 31, 1996. Their goal is “reducing the distance within the global Chinese community and expressing the voice of Chinese to the world.” The voice of the Communist Party, that is. They have been waging information warfare since their beginnings. In the US they are based in California, and they are a National Security risk.

What began a a single station in 1996 has exploded into a vast network.

“I know from personal experience that Phoenix TV’s content is subject to the dictates of the leadership of the Central Communist Propaganda Department, Central Communist Overseas Propaganda Office, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which often directly sent instructions to Phoenix Satellite TV.” Chung Pong, former Phoenix TV news director (Free Beacon)

So we now have a Communist Chinese reporter at the White House coronavirus briefings instead of One America News. What happened to that whole “restricted seating” rule they supposedly enacted? The WHCA is also playing petty politics and deliberately causing problems for Trump. They all should be fired or barred from the White House. And they weren’t wearing masks, by the way.
