California, Illegals, and a Government Lawsuit Against Them

 In opinion, Politics

Recently, Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf warned illegals ahead of an ICE raid, which lead several hundred criminal illegals escaping the impending arrests. ICE is contemplating criminal charges against her. Then we have an illegal named Andres Avelino Anduaga in California who stole the identity of a Texas citizen and bilked the US out of $361,000 in government benefits over 30 (THIRTY) years. Now the DOJ is suing the State of California for its “interference with immigration enforcement.”

“Sanctuary jurisdictions like San Francisco and Oakland shield dangerous criminal aliens from federal law enforcement at the expense of public safety. Because these jurisdictions prevent ICE from arresting criminal aliens in the secure confines of a jail, they also force ICE officers to make more arrests out in the community, which poses increased risks for law enforcement and the public.” Thomas Homan, Acting Director of ICE

The Oakland Mayor defended her position, saying that she had a “right” to warn the illegals and that “families should stay together.” Actually, warning criminals ahead of arrest is a criminal offense. But she’s a Democrat, and they have no common sense in the first place. She even issued a warning to businesses in Oakland that they were not to allow ICE to come onto their property to make arrests.

Many of the 800 or so illegals who escaped capture were convicted of domestic violence, weapons violations, even sex offenses. The Washington Times noted,

“ICE said one of the people who eluded them was a Honduran arrested for transporting cocaine and for sex with a child under 16. Another Mexican had drug and firearms convictions.

Both of those migrants had been in police custody before but the authorities refused to hold them for pickup by ICE, the agency said. Both have been deported before on multiple occasions, but managed to sneak back in.”

Take this Democrat as an example:

“Just last week, President Trump decided to terrorize innocent immigrant families in the Bay Area with his unjust and cruel raids.” Nancy Pelosi

“Unjust and cruel” raids? How about Kate Steinle’s murder- was that unjust and cruel? How about the children that have been molested or raped by illegals? Is that unjust and cruel? How about fraud that is bilking US taxpayers out of our hard-earned money? Isn’t that “unjust and cruel?”

For his part, Jeff Sessions is ready to fight California with all he’s got. He slammed California for it’s “radical, open borders agenda.”

“California is using every power it has, and some it does not, to frustrate federal law enforcement. So you can be sure I’m going to use every power I have to stop them.” AG Sessions
