Black Extremist Calls for Killing Cops in PIttsburgh
Mauricelm-Lei Millere, who goes by the name “Minister Mauricelm X” is a black extremist who calls for blacks to kill police officers in what he calls “self defense.” The June 19 shooting of a 17 year old young black, Antwon Rose, by a Pittsburgh officer has given Millere an excuse to scream for cops to be killed.
Antwon Rose was in a car that matched the description of one that was involved in a drive-by shooting. The body of the vehicle had been hit by bullets, according to an account by WTAE. The driver was in custody when Rose and another passenger fled from the vehicle. Rosfeld shot him. The 17 year old was unarmed, according to the local news.
Officer Michael Rosfeld has been charged with one count of criminal homicide stemming from the incident. He was sworn in the day of the incident, although he had been a police officer at other agencies since 2011.
A fire starter
Blue Lives Matter wrote that Millere posted a call to action Saturday on his Facebook page. We were unable to access his personal page, whether it was taken down or just blocked is unknown.
“Dispatch To Pittsburgh Is Written In Blood and No Less!…We are on our way to Pittsburgh to apply the laws of an eye for an eye, in self-defense of our younger black brother, who was murdered [hours] earlier! We have no alternative! We must kill the police, that are killing our black children & Families In Self-defense!…
…We Will Die To Fulfill This Cause In Self-defense! May Allah Be With Us Until Whatever End!”
The AADL– African-American Defense League, which is Millere’s organization, also posted about it. We were able to access that one:
Blue Lives Matter reported,
“While some might be inclined to disregard Millere’s edict as an extremist rant, his anti-cop posts are believed to have inspired violence against police officers in the past.
He called for killing officers in a vitriolic Facebook post just 36 hours before one of his followers murdered five police officers who were working at a Black Lives Matter march in Dallas on July 7, 2016.
Micah Johnson, the sniper who fatally shot five officers and wounded another nine, was found to have been one of only 170 members of a black nationalist group called the African American Defense League (AADL), The Daily Beast reported.
AADL was founded by Millere and the former head of the New Black Panther Party, Malik Zulu Shabazz. Shabazz has since distanced himself from the organization, according to The Daily Beast.”
The AADL has 183 followers on Twitter, and reportedly only 170 members. Their Facebook page has 1,578 “likes.” Unfortunately, it only takes one of them to kill. Millere has also advocated killing firefighters because they “are on the same side as police.”
Based on his past violent rhetoric, Millere will not likely back off on his call to go to Pittsburgh to kill police now that Officer Rosfeld has been charged in Rose’s death.
