Anti-Gun Ohio College Prof Threatens To Shoot Up NRA and Leave no Survivors
James Pearce, a professor at Southern State Community College, was under investigation by the FBI after a Facebook post he made on June 13. He threatened to commit a series of coordinated attacks on the NRA HQ in Virginia, as well as their lobbyists, and “make sure there are no survivors.”
“Look, there’s only one solution. A bunch of us anti-gun types are going to have to arm ourselves, storm the NRA headquarters in Fairfax, VA, and make sure there are no survivors.
This action might also require coordinated hits at remote sites, like Washington lobbyists.
Then and only then will we see some legislative action on assault weapons.” James Pearce
The post was made in reference to the Pulse Nightclub shootings.
Do you find that funny? He says it was a joke.
The post was put up on June 13. The college reported his remarks to the FBI and Department of Homeland Security, and an investigation was started.
“Pearce’s comments were reported to the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security on June 17 by administrators at Southern State Community College. The college’s Security and Emergency Response coordinator Gary Heaton claimed that ‘the Attorney General advised [SSCC Vice President] Dr. Roades to take no action until the Feds had completed an investigation.'”
The comment thread to Pearce’s post is long, and a mix of anti-gunners and pro-gun postings. But some of the remarks are plain stupid, most of them made by armchair “experts” like Pearce who think they know about weapons.
James Pearce: “I’m assuming we have automatic weapons, no aiming necessary.”
You’ll never have “automatic weapons,” moron. And “no aiming necessary?” Good grief.
Liberals and their humor
The “investigation” will likely show that Mr. Pearce is just a liberal idiot who shot his mouth off to make a sarcastic point. They more than likely won’t do anything and some of the threads on his post show that he really does think it was a joke.
Not funny, teach. And speaking of that, why is this person allowed to teach our college students? Maybe he thinks it’s satire or just ironic and hysterical, but in this climate in America, it’s an incitement to violence. He claims to have gotten in trouble for his sense of humor before…and that he apparently never learns.
Land of the free? Well, let me see. A sarcastic
